These are the people that the Cub's parents allow to be responsible for their precious children. They are known as Akela, and Hathi.

This is Akela. (Andrew) The leader of the Pack, Has been leader of Wednesday Cubs since early 1998, and was an
ACSL for ages before that. and
hardly has a grey hair to show for it. The success of Friday Cubs is (mainly)
due to this person. He has finished his training and was awarded his 'Wood
Beads' in February 2000. He has been asked to help out with the District
Training Team. He really is a sun-deity, all daytime events he has organised, so far,
have been mostly dry. Night hikes and District events are, he says, outside his
jurisdiction. He has recently (mid 2006) become certified for abseiling. |

He has been involved in Cubs since early 1998. He has got some grey hair to show for it! He made the mistake of asking if he could help one evening and hasn't been able to extract himself. (Not that he wants to) He says he can give it (Cubbing) up any time he wants to. Yeah . . .right. He is also the main author of these reports and is therefore the one to blame! He has completed his Formal Leaders training and received his Wood Beads at the Groups AGM in May 2002. |
