TOWERS

HIKE FROM

NORTON MARLEWARD

TO

CHEW MAGNA

VIA

STANTON DREW

When we set of we had to walk over a runway. We thought that a plane might take off. Then we walked over a field and down a stone path.

This is where we had to walk over the bridge to cross into the next field. The river we crossed was the river Chew. Then Oly and Dan got scared of the cows.

We were walking though a field that had vegetables growing in it. I think it was corn on the cob. In the field there was also a scarecrow.

This is a photo of one of the field that we walked through.

This is the food for the animals to eat in the winter. The farmer has cut grass in a field and has let it dry to become hay.

Then we got to the second church. This is a picture of the grave yard. We also had our lunch here, and then we set of to find the last church.

This is a photo of the gremlin on the churchYou can see him just above the drain pipe.

This is the second church tower.

Here are some of the grave stones.

On the day we completed our walk the weather was very hot and sunny. We had to make sure we had plenty of water to drink.

There was a little stream.

Then we walked to a field that just been cut. Probably feed for the animals. It looks like the farmer is getting it ready to sow again.

This is the part of the same stream we saw on our walk

This is the footpath we walked on was near a cricket club and also near the last church we need to reach.

This is my mate Oliver doing the X factor.

This is Harry doing the V for peace sign as we complete our challenge.

Here is Oliver, Dan and Harry. I took this picture at Chew Magna at the end of our challenge.

This is the last church tower. Hooray we made it.

These are some grave stones in the churchyard. My mum told me that here Nan (my Great Nan) is buried here.
