This year held at the HQ of the 21st Group.
Our Cubs were:- Matthew and Charlie doing Draughts and Tom and Ryan doing the chess.
Following our long tradition of entering competitions and not bothering the scorers I can report that our Cubs did us proud this year and we were homeward bound at the end of the 'Round Robin' section. None of our Cubs won enough games to continue but didn't seem to be too upset about it.
Thanks to the Leaders that turned up to make sure that it didn't descend into chaos, it is very hard to watch over three games of chess at the same time, moving into Check or even Checkmate with out realising were not uncommon. Standing back watching the Cubs play Draughts was difficult, please please don't do that we thought but it got done with catastrophic results, oh well there is always next year.
