At Cubs we started to plan our hike from Norton Malreward to Chew Magna. There were six Cubs doing the walk and they were me, Shaun, Brad, Rob, Mike and Ryan S. The walk was scheduled to be on Sunday but Akela was busy so we did it on Saturday. Me Shaun, and Mike got in Hathi's car and the others went in Akela's car. The ride to Norton Malreward was only 20 minutes.
We started off the walk by going past the first church which was called Saint Andrews church. We walked over a big field and then down a rocky hill. We met Akela at the bottom of the hill so that he could cross us over the road. Then we raced own a steep hill.
We met Akela outside the second town called Norton Horkfield. We walked with him down to the town. The church was called St. Mary the Virgin church. Then we carried on along the stony road. We ended up walking down a big hill. Then we stopped for lunch on a windy field. We walked up the hill and then found Akela waiting by a road. We crossed the road and walked down a path by a rich house.
Then we found Akela and Hathi by the third church which was also called Saint Andrews church. After we walked back to the cars and then they dropped us off at our houses.
The weather was very sunny but it was also very windy and it was icy cold. I really enjoyed the walk but I would never do it again.
