Our first attempt was going pretty well until we got lost though when we were directed to the next place it started to rain. We were then left to find our own way to the next check point but then it poured down. So that was cancelled due to freak weather.
Second time lucky and indeed it was the second time was extremely hot and we didn't get lost as many times as we did the first time, we also found out that we walked over half the way when we tried first of all. We crossed farmland and one of them had been freshly fertilized!!!
We had to use a map and compass but sometimes we found it a lot easier to just ask a Leader though we didn't get much of an answer. We walked through a field of cows which was a bit scary we also walked through a field with 2 donkeys in. Time for a well deserved rest, we stopped in a church and had a look around the graveyard Spooky!!!!! Off we set again half an hour or so of walking until finally we reached our destination another church where we saw a squirrel and I took a photo of it.
I have done it I have now completed my CHIEF SCOUT SILVER AWARD!!!!!
