Mikes worms
I filled the pint glass with small amounts of soil then sand in layers approximately 1cm deep. I built up the layers finishing with a layer of soil at the top of the pint glass. then I sprinkled a few drops of water to moisten it slightlly my worms which where called James jack & Michael started to tunnel there way through the soil extracting their food as they moved. earthworms do not breathe like we do as they have no lungs however they need oxygen which is absorbed through tiny pores in their skin James jack & Michael made lots of tunnels before they passed aw@y.
