Afterthoughts
The bus was taken back, the Leaders went back to Akela's house for a quite reflect on what had happened and a cup of tea. It was decided that in the future a weeks camp a dedicated cooks team would be needed. The location of our next camp was briefly discussed but no decision was made. Abi went home to visit her granddad, James got on with modifying a cage for his budgie, Hathi had an early night as did Akela as he had promised to help his neighbour to move eight tons of concrete the next morning.

The camp went well, we had a lot of activities planned that we did not do due to running out of time. The Cubs were what you would expect 8 - 10 year olds to be like, full of energy, a certain unwillingness to listen to Leaders instructions, bless them.
The feedback we got from parents was that the Cubs had a great time, some even managed to get through to tea time before falling asleep.
Sunday Akela and Hathi went round to the Scutt but the tents were still where we had left them, the tent-fairies hadn't been in and packed them so we had to do it. All the equipment from the cupboard was put away and the perishable food was split up. Only three weeks and we start the new session of Cubs, we'll need to do some planning.
